If you are interested in applying for a Habitat for Humanity house, you can:

  1. Pick up an application at the GLHFH office located at 360 Alleghany Avenue in Lynchburg.
  2. Call 434-528-3774 and request an application.

You must leave your name, address, and telephone number.

Bring your completed application to the 360 Alleghany Avenue office. You must attach proof of all income for everyone living in your house that is 18 years old or older and not attending school full time.

Income proof includes each of the following which you may receive:

  • Most recent year’s income tax return;
  • Three (3) most recent paycheck stubs (if you work);
  • Public assistance income statements (SSI, Social Security, Food Stamps, etc.) if you receive public assistance;
  • One (1) year’s statement of child support or alimony, if you receive this type of income.
  • Statements showing amounts of any other income you may receive.
